My name is Barry. In spring of 2006, I became very ill, as a result of chronic hepatitis. During the months that followed, I lost half my body weight. At the time of my admission to the hospital, I was a mere 100 lbs.

  I had ridden motorcycles all my life . At the time of my illness, I owned a 2000 Road King.My wife and I had traveled the southwest on the bike and had many wonderful memories.

 When I lost the weight, all my strength went too. I was incapable  of putting on my socks, much less manuvering a 700lb bike.

    So, I sold it. And when it was gone , I cried. My bike was gone , and so was my hope for survival. With weeks to live, I held little hope for a transplant.

That was 4 years ago. I got my transplant, and recently I got another Road King. Yeah!
